Tofino is a magical place, to escape the rain and grey skies of Vancouver and is much loved by locals. Tofino is the most westerly point in Canada, on Vancouver Island. It's about 5 hours from Vancouver - by ferry and car and is absolutely gorgeous!
Filled with kayaking, sunset gazing and hiking through old-growth rainforests, we had a fantastic weekend.
We stayed at a BnB (view from balcony is above) so compared to our first Canadian weeks of hostels, this was paradise!
